Palos Park's Autumn in The Park Festival Continues Saturday

Palos Park's annual Autumn in the Park Festival is jam packed with autumnal activities and a parade this weekend, Sept. 14 and Sept. 15.

PALOS PARK, IL -- Mark your calendar for the 2018 Autumn in The Park Festival. The two-day festival begins on Friday, September 14 (6pm - 11pm) and wraps up Saturday, September 15 (11:30am - 11pm).

The Village Green will be packed with exciting rides for the kids, live entertainment, local food vendors, and more.

The second day of the festival kicks off at 11am with the annual parade down 123rd Street/McCarthy Road. (Note that the street will be closed to traffic between LaGrange and 80th Avenue beginning at 9am). Interested in showing off your cooking and grilling skills? Become a contestant in the annual Chili Cook-Off Competition or the Amateur BBQ Ribs and Chicken Competition. Applications are available here.
