Trinity Christian College Presents A Weekend of Dance And Music
Trinity Christian College's annual celebration of the arts features Ballet 5:8 and the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra Feb. 7 and Feb. 8.

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Join Ballet 5:8 and Trinity Christian College for an unforgettable evening of dance and song. The college’s annual “Celebration of the Arts” will take place in the Marg Kallemeyn Theater in the Art and Communication Center on Trinity’s campus, 6601 W. College Dr., Palos Heights. There will be two performances at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7 and at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8
“In the Between,” this year’s theme, will feature collaborative performances between Trinity’s Gospel Choir, Theatre, and Music Department Faculty, and excerpts from Ballet 5:8’s 4501 and Brothers & Sisters.
Currently, 2,298,300 men and women sit in the U.S. prison system waiting for release. But lost in the expansive numbers and systemic social issues is the humanity of each individual. Ballet 5:8’s 4501 tells a story based on the true experiences of three former prisoners.
