Alicia Wasmiller (nee Owens)

Beloved wife of Jason and loving mother to Olivia and Madeleine, passed away in her Palos Heights home on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Alicia was 46 years old and was born on August 10, 1974, in Chicago, Illinois. She is survived by her mother Diane Owens (nee DePisa), father John Owens, sister Catherine (Owens) Kuhn, and niece Candace.

Alicia was a beautiful young woman who was spirited and loving. She cherished time with her family and had several passions including art, music (British pop, new wave, modern folk), dancing, animals, camping, and traveling. She was also an avid crafter and jewelry maker. Alicia graduated from DePaul University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English and was a Marketing and Communications Manager at STV.
