PALOS HILLS, IL — Palos Hills police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man they say sexually assaulted a woman early Friday, Sept. 9, in Palos Hills.
The incident occurred at about 5 a.m. in the 10300 block of Harlem Avenue, police said. The victim told police she was returning home from work when she was confronted by a black male as she was exiting her car. The man — described as 5-foot-6, about 120 pounds and 18 to 19 years old — was wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans and flashed a handgun. He instructed her to drive to 99th Street and 84th Avenue, where the assault took place.
The man then reportedly fled on foot after taking the woman's purse, which contained her cell phone and wallet.
