Young Adults Can Connect With Careers At Moraine Valley

High school graduates 16-24 can explore careers and get skills for the work force at Moraine Valley's Young Adult Career Connections.

PALOS HILLS, IL — Young adults can now explore various career options before embarking in a new industry at Moraine Valley Community College. The Young Adult Career Connections program is aimed toward students between the ages of 16 and 24, who are high school graduates or have obtained a high school equivalency certificate, and are not currently enrolled in school, working or underemployed.

The program provides tuition assistance for a career in fields such as health care, information technology, manufacturing, retail, transportation (distribution and logistics), Commercial Driver’s License and various associate or bachelor’s degrees. Students also will be provided with career planning, tutoring, apprenticeships and internships, assistance with resumes and cover letter writing, transportation assistance, childcare, interview attire if needed and more.
