3rd Armed Robbery In 6 Weeks At Park Ridge 7-Eleven

The clerk believes it's the same knife-wielding masked man who struck twice last month.

PARK RIDGE, IL — A 7-Eleven in Park Ridge was robbed at knifepoint for the third time in about six weeks Friday. Police said an armed robbery occurred at the 555 Devon Ave. location shortly after 5 a.m. The suspect was described as a 5-foot, 9-inch tall white man wearing a black mask, a light blue short-sleeve shirt and blue jeans, according to Park Ridge Deputy Chief Lou Jogmen.

"There is a strong possibility it is the same person," Jogmen said, adding that the clerk believes the robber is the same man who twice last month brandished a knife in the convenience store and demanded cash.
