Three Offenders Charged In Park Ridge Crimes

The Park Ridge Police Department announced that they charged three individuals with various charges, including auto theft, home burglary and forgery.

 

As a result of investigating leads in recent crimes, the Park Ridge Police Department has apprehended and charged several offenders.

Perhaps the most noteworthy was the arrest of Javier Rich, 27, of Park Ridge. Rich was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, forgery, two counts of burglary to a motor vehicle and four counts of criminal trespass to an auto. Police say the charges are a result of a vehicle theft which occurred in the 100 Block of N. Meacham Avenue on April 22. Officers also say Rich was responsible for several other car burglaries in the Park Ridge Area on May 8.

The department also charged Linda Bachtali, 47, of Chicago, with one count of residential burglary on May 9. Bachtali broke into a home in the 100 block of Delphia Avenue on Feb. 14, police said. After further investigation, detectives are seeking additional burglary charges that they believe Bachtali is responsible for in the Park Ridge area, according to a press release issued today.

Police also charged Tyrone L. Donald, 23, of Chicago, with criminal trespass and criminal damage to property. According to police, these charges stem from a burglary attempt in the 100 block of Chester Avenue on March 19.
