Graduation Rates Increase in Maine Township High School District 207

District 207 officials: "We've worked hard to build programs to help students recover credits."

Graduation rates are up at Maine Township High School District 207 district officials reported at the board of education meeting on Oct. 3. According to information provided by the district, the 2016 graduation rate at Maine South was 95 percent (up from 91 percent in 2015). At Maine East, the 2016 graduation rate was 93 percent (up from 84 percent), and at Maine West it was 88 percent (up from 86 percent). The 2016 rate, however, has not yet been finalized by the Illinois State Board of Education, according to the Chicago Tribune.

"We've worked hard to build programs to help students recover credits," said Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Barb Dill-Varga in the story.
