Maine South QB Alviti Lights it Up on NFL Network, Game

Even placed among some of the best high school athletes in the country at the Semper Fidelis bowl, the Maine South senior emerged as a top player in the game.

Maine South quarterback Matt Alviti is coming off one heck of a game. According to Recruiting.Scout.com, Alviti "comes from a high school system that will have him prepared for college. He is a great passer who can make all the throws.

"He has touch when he needs to, velocity when he needs to, and does very well on the run. He's an athletic kid who can make plays with his feet and escape the rush and he has great poise and intangibles," the website added.

Alviti was recently named a top performer in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. Although his team lost, Alviti finished 10 of 12 and passed for 104-yards and a score. The game aired on NFL Network on Jan. 4. You can check out some video of the game here.
