PARK RIDGE, IL — A man was charged with disorderly conduct after handing out fliers referencing "white nationalism" and "Jewish Supremacism" to parents and children near a Park Ridge-Niles School District 64 school, Pioneer Press reported. In a message to parents, the superintendent said the man tried to distribute "hand-written fliers" as families walked into the building from the parking lot.
Michael Johnson, 57, of the 500 block of North Dee Road in Park Ridge, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after police were called around 9 a.m. and told he had been handing out the fliers from his car around Park Ridge Presbyterian Church and Lincoln Middle School in the 1300 block of West Crescent Street, according to the Park Ridge Herald Advocate.
A police spokesperson told the paper Johnson is due in court on Nov. 20. The content of the handouts was not immediately clear. A message seeking comment left at Johnson's home was not immediately returned.
