Marie Catherine Shaughnessy Henebry, 97

Marie Catherine Shaughnessy Henebry, known to all as "Maurie."

Born in St. Louis, MO in 1915. Now reunited with her husband, the late Joseph A. Henebry, Jr. Survived and dearly loved by her six children, Joseph (Diane), Kathleen (John) Stanley, Timothy (Maryrose), Terence (Patricia) Michelle (Timothy) Finnigan and Patrice (David) Spohnholz, 19 adoring grandchildren and 8 (soon to be 10) great-grandchildren.

Also survived by three of six siblings, Robert (the late Marilyn) Shaughnessy, Therese (the late Joseph) Gilroy and Patrick (Madonna) Shaughnessy, many nieces and nephews, devoted companions Mary Quigley, Bridin Lyons and countless friends.

Omnipresent, Maurie's fortitude, faith and good humor endure in the family she has loved without reserve or compromise, through thick and thin, from one century to the next. Memorial visitation Tuesday, April 16, 4-8 p.m., at RYAN-PARKE FUNERAL HOME, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge. Memorial mass Wednesday, 10 a.m., at St. Paul of the Cross Church. Private entombment, All Saints Mausoleum.
