North Shore's Julia Collins Back on 'Jeopardy' for Tournament of Champions
Wilmette champ holds second-longest winning streak and will compete for $250,000.

Wilmette’s “Jeopardy” champ Julia Collins is back on the show for this week’s Tournament of Champions.
The top players of the last two seasons will compete this week for $250,000. Collins won 20 straight games and $428,100. What did she do with her winnings? She took a summer trip to Europe, reports Lori Rackl for the Chicago Sun-Times, and prepped for the tournament.
Her winning streak is the second-longest in show history, and she also has won more games than any other woman.

“They’re both the truth, but one puts me in a little better perspective than the other,” Collins told the Sun-Times. “I grew a bit tired of the ‘most-winning woman element’ because let’s face it: I’m not ‘pretty good for a girl.’ I’m a good player. I’m a very good player.”
The shows airs at 3:30 p.m. weekdays on ABC.
