Park Ridge Blotter: Burglaries, Stolen Gas

The following arrest information was supplied by the Park Ridge Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Attempted burglary

Police responded to an attempted burglary in the 300 block of Northwest Highway on Nov. 28. While the home’s doorframe was damaged, the burglar did not gain entry.

Stolen televisions

Two televisions were reported stolen from a condo in the 100 block of Ashbury Circle on Nov. 26. According to the report, the suspect(s) gained access by using brute force against the door.

Electronics stolen

An iPad, laptop and jewelry were reported stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue on Nov. 26. The suspect was seen leaving the area in a red Jeep Grand Cherokee at a high rate of speed, the report stated.

Stolen generators

Various tools, supplies and a power generator were reported stolen from a garage in the 500 block of Redfield Court on Nov. 27.

Garage burglary

A computer, credit cards and several cell phones were reported stolen from a garage in the 2100 block of Habberton Avenue on Nov. 28.

GPS stolen

A GPS device was reported stolen from a car parked in the 500 block of Knight Road on Nov. 23.

Vehicle burglary

A laptop, bag, wallet and several credit cards were reported stolen from a car parked in the 1000 block of Washington Road on Nov. 23.

Car damaged in theft

Multiple tools were reported stolen from a car parked in the 1600 block of Washington Road on Nov. 25. The suspect(s) gained entry by smashing out the driver’s side window.

Window damage

A car parked in the 600 block of Northwest Highway had its window smashed open. According to the report, a brick was used to damage the vehicle.

Graffiti

A building in the 500 block of Busse Highway was reported vandalized on Nov. 21. According to the report, spray paint was used to draw several designs on the rear of the building.

Stolen gas

A gas station in the 1100 block of Touhy Avenue reported three gas thefts over three days from Nov. 25 to Nov. 28. All in all, 35 gallons of gas was stolen, the report stated.
