Burglary

A home in the 400 block of Wisner Street was reported burglarized on Jan. 6. According to the report, the suspect(s) entered the home through an open window and removed jewelry.

Another home in the 400 block of Wisner Street was reported burglarized on Jan. 6. According to the report, the suspect(s) entered through an unlocked door and removed a television and jewelry.

A home in the 100 block of Sibley Street was reported burglarized on Jan. 6. According to the report, the offender(s) gained entry by breaking a window. Once inside, the suspect(s) looted the home of several pieces of jewelry, the report stated.

A home in the 200 block of Western Avenue was reported burglarized on Jan. 5. According to the report, the suspect(s) ransacked several rooms and removed cash and jewelry from the home.

Theft from auto

A car parked in the 100 block of Imperial Street was reported burglarized on Jan. 5. According to the report, the vehicle was left unlocked, and the suspect took an unknown amount of money from the vehicle.

A laptop, wallet and several books were reported stolen from a car parked in the 1800 block of Birch Street on Jan. 10.

Damage to auto

A man reported that an unknown person used unknown means to damage the rear window of his vehicle parked in the 700 block of Seminary Street on Jan. 10.

Missing cell phone

A woman reported her cell phone missing after riding a taxi on Jan. 5.

A gas station employee reported that a man drove off with paying for his gas in the 1100 block of Touhy Avenue on Jan. 5.
