Park Ridge Blotter: Clerk Sells Tobacco to Minor

The following arrest information was supplied by the Park Ridge Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

DUI

Frank Jozefczak, 43, of Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Nov. 27. He was stopped in the 1400 block of Dee Road around 6:30 a.m., police said.

Theft

A 14-year-old Park Ridge boy was charged with theft on Nov. 27.

Selling tobacco to minor

Sureshbhai Patel, 42, of Chicago, was charged with selling tobacco to a minor on Nov. 28. Patel was arrested at his workplace in the 900 block of Talcott Avenue around 5 p.m.

DUI

Sam Park, 25, of Gurnee, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Nov. 29. He was arrested near the intersection of Dee and Higgins roads around 3 a.m.

Curfew

A 14-year-old teen was arrested for violated the Park Ridge's curfew ordinance on Nov. 22. The teen was arrested in the 100 block of Summit Road at 11:29 p.m.

Three other teens were also arrested in the 1100 block of Summit Road for violating curfew laws.

DUI

Jonathan Schmidt, 19, of Skokie, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Dec. 3. Schmidt was stopped in the 1900 block of Oakton Street around 12:30 a.m.
