Park Ridge Blotter: Cruel Prank

The following arrest information was supplied by the Park Ridge Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Battery

Police responded to a battery complaint in the 900 block of Touhy Avenue on Feb. 27 around 9 p.m. According to the report, a victim was leaving work when an unknown man grabbed her and started asking her questions.

The woman told the suspect to leave her alone, but he would then get in his car and start yelling at her, the report stated. No arrests were made.

The offender was described as a white male, about 20-years-old, 5-foot-8, brown eyes, brown hair and driving a compact gray sedan.

Theft to auto

A laptop and camera were reported stolen from a car parked in the 1400 block of Granville Street on March 6.

A wallet containing cash and credit cards was reported stolen from a car parked in the 1500 block of Touhy Avenue on March 6.

Cruel prank

An unknown person(s) turned on an outside water faucet at a home in the 800 block of Wilkinson on March 3. The water would ultimately soak through and damage the carpeting and drywall of the lower level of the residence, police said.

Theft

A cell phone was reported stolen from a gym in the 1500 block of Touhy Avenue on March 3.
