Park Ridge Blotter: Cyber Stalking

DUI
Elizabeth Cullotta, 65, of Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Jan. 7. She was stopped at the intersection of Northwest Highway and Washington Street around 8 p.m., the report stated. Her court date is Feb. 1.

A 17-year-old Elgin man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, unlawful possession of a motor vehicle and possession of cannabis as well as having no valid driver’s license on Jan. 8. The teen was stopped in the 800 block of Rowe Street around 7 a.m., the report stated.
Cyber stalking

Brian Ashcroft, 31, of Park Ridge, was charged with cyber stalking on Jan. 9. Ashcroft was arrested in the 1000 block of Home Street around 1 p.m.
According to police, Ashcroft sent more than 1,000 social media or text messages to the victim, some of which were inappropriate.
He would also call the woman from her backyard and ask her to look outside while partially clothed, police said. Officers made the arrest the same day as the complaint.
Disorderly conduct
Three teens – two 15 the other 14, were charged with disorderly conduct in the 2600 block of Dempster Street on Jan. 9 around 1 p.m. All three teens were from Des Plaines, the report stated.
Possession of drug paraphernalia
A 17-year-old Des Plaines male was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Jan. 10. The teen was arrested in the 2600 block of Dempster Street around 3:30 p.m.
