Park Ridge Blotter: Stolen Copper Kettle

Theft from auto

Police responded to a theft from auto complaint in the 800 block of Marvin Parkway on March 5. The offender(s) attempted to gain entry by prying open a door handle, but damaged the exterior of the vehicle instead. No items were reported missing.

Burglary

A safe containing an unknown amount of cash was reported stolen from a home in the 100 block Peterson on March 11.  

Stolen smokes

A business owner reported that a customer stole two packs of cigarettes from his store in the 1100 block of Touhy on March 10 around 12 a.m. The suspect was described as a white male, about 6-feet-tall and 180-pounds.

Stolen copper

A copper kettle was reported stolen from a home's backyard in the 100 block of Home on March 11.
