Attempted burglary
Police responded to a burglary in the 1200 block of Peterson Avenue on Feb. 17. According to police, the offender(s) attempted to gain access through a patio door but failed. No items were reported missing.

Police responded to a business in the 300 block of Higgins Road on Feb. 20. According to police, two men exited a dark minivan and attempted to use brute force to gain entry into the store. The offenders were unsuccessful, police said. No arrests were made.
Stolen television

A TV was reported stolen from a home in the 300 block of Higgins Road on Feb. 16.
Vehicle vandalism
A car parked in the 400 block of S. Western Avenue was reported vandalized on Feb. 16. According to the report, an unknown person(s) used a sharp object to scratch the vehicle.
Stolen phone
A student reported his iPhone stolen from his backpack while at school in the 1100 block of Dee Road on Feb. 13.
Stolen package
A FedEx package was reported stolen from a home in the 1800 block of Walnut on Feb. 13.
