Home burglary
Police responded to a residential burglary in the 700 block of Oriole on Feb. 23. According to the report, brute force was used to gain entry. Once inside, the offender(s) looted multiple electronics, jewelry and a check, police said.

A woman found a burglar going through a jewelry box in her home in the 300 block of Seminary on Feb. 28. The victim screamed and the suspect ran out of the house and met up with another person before fleeing southbound through an alley on foot.
Both suspects were described as Hispanic females, with dark hair and a heavy-set build, police said. No arrests were made.

Theft from auto
A car parked in the 700 block of Higgins Road was reported burglarized on Feb. 28. Missing from the vehicle was a driver’s license and miscellaneous credit cards.

A set of keys was reported stolen from a car parked in the 1000 block of Seminary Street on Feb. 28.
Vehicle vandalism
A car parked in the 2300 block of De Cook Court was vandalized on Feb. 24. According to police, a blunt object was used to shatter the rear driver’s side windows. No items were missing from the vehicle.
Damaged fence
A homeowner’s fence in the 300 block of Fairview was reported damaged on Feb. 22.
Missing wallet
A man reported his wallet and keys stolen after visiting a business in the 1900 bloc of Cumberland on Feb. 23.
Stolen copper
A church in the 300 block of Touhy Avenue reported that an unknown person(s) removed copper downspouts from the side of the building on Feb. 24.
