Theft
A 15-year-old Niles male was charged with theft on Feb. 15. The teen was arrested at the 2600 block of Dempster Street around 8:48 a.m.

Francisco Ramirez, 20, of Des Plaines, was charged under Illinois' Zero Tolerance policy. Ramirez was stopped in the 100 block of Busse Highway around 2:50 a.m., police said.

A 16-year-old Park Ridge male was charged under Illinois' Zero Tolerance policy. The teen was stopped in the 1000 block of Lois around 11:17 p.m.
Prohibited sale of tobacco
Sureshbhai Patel, 42, of Chicago, was charged with selling tobacco to a minor on Feb. 20. Patel was arrested in the 900 block of Talcott around 4:50 p.m.
DUI
Gregory Trelford, 30, of Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Feb. 22. Trelford was stopped near the intersection of Greenwood and Cedar around 11:08 p.m., police said.
Animal control
A 39-year-old Park Ridge woman was issued a citation for failure to control an animal on Feb. 24.
