Park Ridge City Council to vote on proposed three-story development

The new building containing apartments and commercial space would replace a vacant three-story building

A proposed development at the northwest corner of Talcott Road and Courtland Avenue passed the Park Ridge Planning and Zoning Commission on November 22, according to the Park Ridge Herald-Advocate. The development is slated to be a 16-unit apartment building with commercial space on the ground floor.

At the site to be developed there is a vacant three-story office building, most previously used by a church.

Members of the Planning and Zoning Commission expressed concern over stormwater drainage and parking lot lighting. The commission tentatively approved the plans, but wants to see more information on how the developer will address drainage and lighting.
