Park Ridge PD Nab Car Burglary Suspect
A Chicago man responsible for a string of robberies in Wilmette was charged with three counts of felony burglary on April 12.

Murad Eminov, 18, of Chicago, was charged with three counts of felony burglary and one count of felony unlawful use of an unissued credit card on April 12. Eminov used the credit card at a Highland Park gas station, which ultimately led to his capture, police said.
The Park Ridge Police Department - in cooperation with Wilmette police - charged Eminov after he was stopped in the 1100 block of Garden Street in Park Ridge. Police found a GPS device that was reported stolen from one of the Wilmette burglaries.

A Park Ridge detective contacted Wilmette police, who provided a description of Eminoiv and his vehicle. During interviews with Wilmette detectives, Eminov admitted to coming to Wilmette and "car hopping."
After further investigation, officers determined that there was one other person — a Chicago juvenile — with him at the time of the burglaries. The juvenile admitted to the acts. The teen is being petitioned to be charged with one count of felony burglary, Wilmette police officials said.
Eminov's court date is set for April 22, with bond set at $5,000. The juvenile's court date and bond have not yet been determined.
