Park Ridge Woman Selected To Decorate White House For Christmas

Kim Eggert of Park Ridge was one of about 80 interior designers nationwide to win a chance to decorate the White House.

PARK RIDGE, IL - A Park Ridge woman was one of among 80 interior designers nationwide to be selected to decorate the White House during the Christmas season. Kim Eggert called her selection "a Christmas miracle" in a story from WGN.

Eggert set aside a goal a year ago to decorate 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. for the first family. She was selected among thousands of applicants for the honor.

Had Hillary Clinton defeated Donald Trump in the 2016 election, Eggert would have been decorating the White House for a Park Ridge native.
