"Play It Again, Sam" Stages Successful Opening at Wheaton Drama

Woody Allen's "Play It Again, Sam" opened at Wheaton Drama on Friday, leaving audiences in hysterics.

The play centers on the dating escapades of neurotic film writer Allan Felix as he bounces back from his wife’s departure. Throughout the play, Allan receives guidance from his imaginary idol who goes by the name of “Bogey”.

The cast of 5 veteran actors work seamlessly together to bring their characters to life. Their interactions, characterizations, and spot-on comedic timing keep audiences laughing and wondering what might be next.

Director Randall W. Knott, assisted by Andrew Dameron, has worked to create something that he hopes audiences will find humorous and enjoyable. Stage management for this production is provided by Amy Johnson.
