Summit sponsors Rockin with the S.T.A.R.S. July 26
Summit of Uptown, a Rockin with the S.T.A.R.S. at the Park Ridge Country Club on Thursday, July 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. The sponsorship is just one of several aimed towards seniors to support Summit's larger role in Park Ridge as a hub of community life. It has partnered with other organizations that draw their memberships from all age groups.
Open to the public, the dance is one of the many S.T.A.R. (Seniors Together at Recreation) activities. S.T.A.R. is a program of the Park Ridge Park District that offers events, and services for people 55 years of age and older. The evening will feature Croozin the Loop Band performing the best of music from the 50s and 60s along with dinner. Tickets are $48 for members and $54 for non-members.
