"World’s Smallest Retail Space" Opens in Park Ridge
According to the front door sign at 147 1/2 S. Vine Street, the new store A.K.A. is the smallest in the world.
A new candle shop has opened its doors in Park Ridge, in the smallest commercial storefront space around, the Park Ridge Herald-Advocate reports.
A.K.A. opened on June 30 at 147 ½ S. Vine Avenue. The tiny store is only 48 inches wide, but sells a wide variety of candles, and jewelry, handmade by its owners. A.K.A. got its name from the initials of the owners: Twins Anna Lorusso and Kella Mosier and their cousin April Mosier, the newspaper reports.
