$5K Award For Information On Shooting Of Romeoville Man: Police

The Will County Crime Stoppers is offering the reward that could lead to the arrest of those involved in the death of Osama Ibrahim.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Will County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that could lead to the arrest of those involved in the death of a 19-year-old Romeoville man.

The Romeoville Police Department is investigating the death of Osama Ibrahim, who died of multiple gunshot wounds on Oct. 14, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.

Officers responded at 6 p.m. to the area near Friendship Centre at HighPoint, and Ibrahim was transported to Amita Health Adventist Medical Center emergency room. Police said investigators believe the incident could be a targeted attack, and Ibrahim might have exchanged gunfire with two other armed men.
