Track-A-Trail Challenge Begins In Romeoville

The challenge started Monday and runs through Sept. 5.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Village of Romeoville is challenging its residents to explore local trails and paths for the Track-A-Trail Challenge 2021. The challenge started Monday and runs through Sept. 5.

Participants are challenged to log their activity each time they go on a Romeoville trail or path this summer, and then submit it to the recreation center to receive a prize, according to the village.

Activity log requirements (you must complete one or any combination) are: walk a total of 20 miles, run a total of 30 miles, or bike, skate or stroll a total of 40 miles.

You can find the paper activity form to print, or you can submit your daily activity online. According to the village, you can submit your online log between Aug. 23 and Sept. 12. The first 200 people to submit a paper log or online log will receive a prize, the village said.

All ages are welcome to participate in the challenge.
