Chicago Area Weather: Severe Thunderstorm Warning
A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued until 4:30 p.m.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for the southern suburbs of Chicago in northwestern Will County. According to the National Weather Service, the warning is in effect until 4:30 p.m.

The National Weather Service said a severe thunderstorm was located over Plainfield at 3:48 p.m., moving east at 5 mph. Radar indicated this storm has 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
Locations impacted include Aurora, Naperville, Bolingbrook, Romeoville, Plainfield and Crest Hill. It also will impact I-55 between mile markers 258 and 266.
