ROMEOVILLE, IL — The following information is from the Romeoville Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt.

June 25

Gene Molitor, 74, of Plainfield, was charged with DUI and driving below the minimum speed at 1:27 a.m. at Weber and Airport roads.

June 27

Felipe Garcia, 36, of Bolingbrook, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no insurance, leaving the scene of an accident and improper lane use at 2:50 p.m. at Weber and Airport roads.

July 1

Brian Ortiz, 23, of Romeoville, was charged with DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give information on accident and failure to report accident to police at 9:11 p.m. at Montrose and Belmont Drive.

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported in the 1300 block of Alder Creek. Someone deflated tires, removed reservoir caps, and stole a backpack and a driver's license from the car.

July 4

Ricardo Ortiz, 43, of Bolingbrook, was charged with DUI at 10:13 p.m. in the 500 block of Anderson Drive.

July 5

Eric Foster, 40, of Crete, was charged with minimum speed violation, DUI, driving while license suspended, transportation of alcohol and no insurance at 3 a.m. at Weber and Normantown roads.

July 6

Desiree Gray, 25, of Chicago, was charged with possession of controlled substance at 8:27 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Joliet.
