Forest Preserve Hosting 'Zombie Apocalypse Archery' In Romeoville
Only YOU can help protect the forest preserve from a zombie invasion.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Forest Preserve District of Will County is hosting an event that could teach some valuable lessons... in the case of a zombie Apocalypse. The district will host a 'zombie apocalypse archery' event at Isle a la Cache Museum on Oct. 19.
Participants in the event can learn the basics of archery, and then shoot at (presumably) zombie-themed targets at the archery range. The event runs from 1-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, and is free and is available for those aged 18 and older.
There will be an archery event for kids that day as well, but it doesn't appear to be zombie-themed. From 10-11:30 am. on Oct. 19, kids aged 12-17 can learn how to safely use archery equipment, and can practice shooting bows with blunt arrows at a target. That event is also free to the public.
