Fun for the Whole Family! 15th Annual Holiday Spectacular

Heritage Theatre Company (HTC) 15th Annual Christmas Spectacular will be performed on December 5 – 7 and is fun for the whole family. Evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m. In addition, there is a matinee performance at 4 p.m. on December 7. The show is 90 minutes of joyful music, skits, and audience participation merriment. Advanced ticket purchases are strongly encouraged.

Tickets are $10 for the general public, and $3 for Lewis students with an ID. Half price tickets are available with a donation of non-perishable foods to go to local shelters. Tickets are non-refundable and payable with cash or a check only. The theatre is located on the main campus in the Oremus Fine Arts Center on Route 53, Romeoville.

Members of this year’s ensamble cast include: Zachary Abu-Shanab ‘18 of Plainfield, Victoria Brier of Lemont, Christy Carlson ‘19 of Lockport, Estefania Flores of Tinley Park, DaLanye Haywood of Chicago, Austin Jones of Steger, Noah Marvo of Shorewood, Kelsey Papineau of Mazon, Katie Szymkiewicz and Kaylan Walton both of Chicago, Julia Olexa of Palos Park, and Lukas Roy of Palos Park .

The show is concieved and directed by Philip Lynch Theatre manager and assistant professor of theatre, Jo Slowik ‘88 of Joliet. Assistant professor of theatre and scenic designer, Andrew Nelsen ‘04 of Joliet provides the stagecraft magic. Resident costumer Celeste Mackey of Crest Hill, is providing her talents with the festive wardrobe. Working behind the scenes are Katie Horn of Sturgis, MI (stage manager), Julia Egizio of Plainfield (assistant stage manager), Bradford Bingham of Chicago (lighting designer and light board operator), John Kladis of Palos Hills (sound designer and operator), and Dave Pomatto of Naperville (assistant technical director). Lewis alumni on the production team include: Mike Frale ‘17 (vocal director), Jordin Richards ‘16 (choreographer), Taylore Cephas ’17 (videographer) and Robert Kornaus ‘16 of Plainfield (properties manager). The front-of-house staff is provided by the HTC board members.
