Giovan's Restaurant, Crest Hill Library Partner for Beer Tasting Class

The White Oak Library District is pleased to present the program “Beer Tasting Class at Giovan’s Restaurant and Pizzeria” at Giovan’s Restaurant and Pizzeria, 1804 N. Larkin Ave, Crest Hill.
The event is set for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the restaurant.
Ever wanted to know a little more about that brew you’ve been sipping? The Crest Hill Adult Services Department is hosting a beer tasting class led by Certified Judge and Library Director Scott Pointon at Giovan’s Restaurant and Pizzeria.

Learn how to taste properly, the makings of the different styles presented, and ask questions in a relaxed setting with other brew hounds. Tasting includes a flight of four beer samples for $6. The tasting includes a seasonal selection of Oktoberfest brews.
Register in advance through the library website, by phone or by visiting the Adult Services Desk at any White Oak Library Branch. No money is due at registration, and registrants must be 21 years of age or older.
