Infant Picked Up By Back Of Neck: Joliet Cops
A Romeoville man was arrested and the one-month-old baby was taken to an area hospital.

JOLIET, IL — An infant was picked up by the back of the neck in a dispute in Joliet around 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The Herald-News reports that Flowers D. McNeal, lifted up the one-month-old boy by the neck on the 300 block of South Joliet Street during an argument with the baby's mother.
McNeal, 28, of 1521 Azalea Circle, Romeoville, was arrested on charges of assault, aggravated battery to a child, causing a child to be endangered, theft and domestic battery, according to Will County jail bookings. (Get free email news alerts from the Romeoville Patch)
Police told the Herald-News the child was taken to Presence St. Joseph Hospital for an examination.
