Jewel-Osco, Eli's: Easter Grocery Store Hours In Romeoville
Most pharmacies in and near Romeoville will remain open on the Sunday holiday as some stores will be closed.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — Easter Sunday has often created some last-minute meal preps, and many of the most popular grocery stores in and near Romeoville will be open on Sunday.
Here are a few of Romeoville's and Bolingbrook's local grocery stores and their Easter hours:
- Jewel-Osco, 20 S Weber Rd., Romeoville, Store: 6 a.m. to 12 a.m., Pharmacy: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Eli's Market & Catering, 328 N Independence Blvd., Romeoville, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Walmart, 420 Weber Rd., Romeoville, Store: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Pharmacy: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Lunch break 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.)
- Meijer, 755 E Boughton Rd., Bolingbrook, Store: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pharmacy: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
National chains are varied in their opening plans for the holiday celebrated across Christian faiths. At least 38 chain stores plan to close for Easter, with at least 23 opening for at least a part of it, according to a list from the coupon company RetailMeNot.

In Romeoville and Bolingbrook, these are among the stores that will be closed on Sunday:

- Target, 1188 W Boughton Rd., Bolingbrook
Pharmacy stores with locations all over the country — such as CVS, Duane Reade and Walgreens — will largely be open for their regular Sunday business hours. These Romeoville and Bolingbrook locations will be open for regular hours:

- CVS, 1725 W Boughton Rd., Bolingbrook, Store: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Pharmacy: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Customers should check hours of other locations in Romeoville and surrounding communities.
Although the coronavirus vaccine rollout continues and many states are lifting pandemic-related restrictions, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention still urges people to limit grocery trips and use curbside pickup or delivery options when possible to limit the virus's spread.
