Kick Off Holidays With Romeoville 'Winter Wonderland'

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The village will kick off the holiday season with its "Winter Wonderland" from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the Edward Hospital Athletic & Event Center, 55 Phelps Ave. The festivities include the arrival of Santa on decorated Romeoville Fire Department vehicles, plus a tree-lighting ceremony, hot chocolate and cookies courtesy of the Romeoville Firefighters Local 4237 and more.

Admission to the event is one non-perishable food item per person.

Heart Of Christmas: Tree Lighting, Holiday Fun In Plainfield

Activities include crafts, children's entertainment, moon jumps, a pasta dinner courtesy of Fat Ricky's, DJ and games, plus photos with Santa for the first 400 children.
