Manley to Host Senior Informational Presentation
Senior Services of Will County Will Provide Information on Programs Available to the Community

State Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, will host a senior informational presentation with Senior Services of Will County on Wednesday, September 12 at 10:00am at the Romeoville Village Hall Board Room located at 1050 W Romeo Rd. in Romeoville. This is the first presentation in Rep. Manley’s Senior Informational Speakers Series that will continue this fall.
“One of my main focuses as state representative is to provide useful information to seniors in my district,” said Manley. “Senior Services of Will County is an excellent resource for the community, and I’m grateful that they are available to inform seniors about the work they do and the assistance they can provide.”
Presenter Barry Kolanowski, Executive Director of Senior Services of Will County, will talk about services that the organization provides, including navigating Medicare enrollment, home maintenance, tax preparation, the Grandparents raising Grandchildren food program, respite care for family caregivers, and Romeoville satellite office availability.
“We are excited to partner with State Representative Natalie Manley who has been an ardent supporter of senior issues and Senior Services of Will County,” said Kolanowski. “In the next 18 months, the U.S. Census Bureau is projecting the senior population in Will County will exceed 100,000 for the first time in its history. Programs like this help us connect with those who might not otherwise have learned about the many free services we offer.”
