Memorial Day Weekend Fireworks Show Returns To Mistwood

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Mistwood Golf Club, 1700 W. Renwick Road in Romeoville, will once again host a Memorial Day Weekend fireworks show, along with kids' games, inflatables, face painting, food, craft beer tastings, live music and more. Events begin at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 26, followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. The event is sponsored by Romeoville Toyota and Citgo.

Additional shuttle bus service has been added this year. Free shuttle buses will be offered from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m. from the Village Hall parking lot, 1050 W. Romeo Road; John J. Lukancic Middle School, 725 West Normantown Road; the former Sam's Club, 460 S. Weber Road; and Kenneth L. Hermansen Elementary School, 101 Wesglen Parkway.

Those ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. No coolers permitted on shuttle buses or at the event.
