Multiple Thefts In Romeoville Last Month: Police

The Romeoville Police Department is investigating a number of thefts between Jan. 15-29.

Jan. 26

  • A vehicle was burglarized in the 900 block of Princeton Ave. The vehicle was unlocked and a computer bag was stolen, police said.
  • A retail theft was reported in the 0-100 block of S. Weber Road. Many bottles of alcohol were taken, police said.

Jan. 25

A retail theft was reported in the 0-100 block of Alexander Circle. Police said two cases of soda were taken.

Jan. 23

A theft was reported in the 0-100 block of S. Weber Road. Police said money was taken from a wallet that was left on the service desk counter.

Jan. 20

  • A retail theft was reported in the 300 block of N. Independence Boulevard. Skincare products were stolen, police said.
  • A theft was reported in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive. A cell phone was taken from a bench.

Jan. 15

A theft was reported in the 1900 block of Crestview Circle. Unknown person(s) took a package that was delivered from the front door area, police said.
