Police Reports: Domestic Battery, Endangering The Life Of A Child

The following is a roundup of arrests and incidents reported by the Romeoville Police Department.

ROMEOVILLE, IL—Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Thomas Bunn, 27, of the 1800 block of Brookstone Court, Romeoville, was charged at 9:38 p.m. April 13 in the 1800 block of Brookstone for domestic battery. Bunn was also charged for endangering the life of a child.

Martha Salcedo, 38, of the 24000 block of John Adams Drive, Plainfield, was charged at 2:55 a.m. April 11 in the 1300 block of Normantown Road for driving under the influence, no insurance and no driver’s license on person.

Alexis Duenas, 28, of the 17000 block of Greenbay Avenue, Lansing, was charged at 12:16 p.m. April 12 in the 1300 block of Enterprise for an in-state warrant.

Gustavo Catemaxca-Campos, 24, of the 0-99 block of Caltalpa Court, Bolingbrook, was charged at 2:13 p.m. April 19 in the area of Dalhart and Normantown for driving while license suspended and expired registration.

Mark Masnica, 28, of the 14000 block of Danbury Drive, Plainfield, was charged at 7:39 p.m. April 20 in the area of Weber and South Carillon for driving while license suspended and speeding.

Jeremy Belousek, 25, of the 1900 block of West Crestview Circle, Romeoville, was charged at 11:13 p.m. April 20 in the area of Frontage and Helen for aggravated speeding.

Mark Chavez, 31, of the 200 block of Hemlock Avenue, Romeoville, was charged at 8:18 p.m. April 22 in the area of Murphy and Bodega for driving while license revoked and disobey stop sign.

Leonardo Bernardo, 48, of the 700 block of Essex, Romeoville, was charged at 9:17 p.m. April 22 in the area of Route 53 and 135th Street for driving under the influence. Bernardo was also charged with improper lane usage, violation of classification, no valid registration, no insurance and driving while license suspended.

David Rodriguez-Alonzo, 33, of the 300 block of McKool, Romeoville, was charged at 5:11 a.m. April 23 in the 1000 block of Romeo Road for criminal trespass to property.

Marco Cruz-Hernandez, 33, of the 500 block of Preston Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged at 4:05 p.m. April 24 in the area of Normantown and Circle for no valid driver’s license. Cruz-Hernandez was also charged for speeding in a construction zone and no insurance.

Martin Luna-Guzman, 41, of the 200 block of Highpoint Drive, Romeoville, was charged at 8:31 a.m. April 25 in the 100 block of Wesglen Parkway for no valid driver’s license. Luna-Guzman was also charged for illegal use of cell phone.

Christina Madonis, 29, of the 200 block of Greenfield Road, Shorewood, was charged at 11:51 a.m. April 25 in the 1200 block of Normantown Road for an in-state warrant.

Ronald Paz-Escobar, 21, of the 4000 block of West Potomac Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 9:49 a.m. April 27 in the area of Weber and Lakewood Falls for no valid driver’s license and speeding.

Chase Taylor, 32, of the 13000 block of Pinewood Drive, Grand Haven, Michigan, was charged at 5:31 p.m. April 27 in the 700 block of Farragut for driving while license suspended.

Matthew Smith, 25, of the 700 block of Farragut, Romeoville, was charged at 6:06 p.m. April 30 in the 700 block of Farragut for domestic battery.

A criminal defacement of property was reported at 6:20 p.m. April 12 in the 1700 block of Weslake Parkway. An unknown person(s) used spray paint to deface a baseball dugout.

A criminal defacement of property was reported at 5:50 p.m. April 16 in the 1700 block of Richfield Trail. An unknown person(s) using spray paint defaced a brick wall and park equipment.

A criminal damage to property was reported at 7:03 p.m. April 20 in the 500 block of Stonebrook Drive. An unknown person(s) slashed two tires of a vehicle that was parked in the street.

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported at 11:50 a.m. April 25 in the 400 block of North Weber Road. An unknown person(s) took a purse from a parked vehicle.

A criminal defacement of property was reported at 7:10 a.m. April 27 in the area of Edgewater and Parkview. An unknown person(s) used spray paint to deface a sign and brick wall.

A criminal defacement of property was reported at 7:28 a.m. April 27 in the area of Woodhill and Parkview. Unknown person(s) used spray paint to deface a sign and brick wall.

A retail theft was reported at 9:29 a.m. April 27 in the 400 block of South Weber Road. An unknown person(s) took $2135.52 in various merchandise from the business.
