Police Respond to Criminal Defacement of Property Report on Elmwood
Also, police report credit cars and a driver's license were taken from a bag in car parked on the 300 block of Hemlock.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department:
Jan. 15: A criminal defacement of property was reported in the 100 block of Elmwood. The exterior of the residence, a shed and fence were damaged by an unknown person(s). Estimated cost to remove the graffiti is $250. Time: 1:47 p.m.
Jan. 15: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 200 block of East Savannah. Unknown person(s) threw eggs at a vehicle and damaged the rear quarter panel. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $250. Time: 5:45 p.m.

Jan. 16: A theft from motor vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Hemlock. Unknown person(s) took a bag containing credit cards and a driver’s license from a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. The suspects also tried to make purchases with the credit cards. Time: 8:43 a.m.
Jan. 19: A criminal trespass to vehicle was reported in the 2000 block of Tilson. Unknown person(s) entered the vehicle and rearranged some of its contents but took nothing. Time: 12:20 p.m.
