Romeoville Cancels Spring Tide Craft Show, Weekend Events
Romeoville will be following the State of Illinois Guidelines and recommendations set on 3/12 future events to prevent spread of COVID-19.

With the continuing spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Village of Romeoville is staying up to date with information from both the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Illinois Department of Public Health. In addition, we have created our own COVID-19 task force to oversee the situation and provide local guidance that will continue to keep residents, staff and visitors healthy, safe and informed.
The Village of Romeoville will be following the State of Illinois Guidelines and recommendations set on March 12th for future events to prevent further spread of COVID-19. Therefore, any event or gathering of 250 people or more will be canceled for this weekend. This includes the Spring Tide Craft Show. Future event cancelations will be detailed at romeoville.org.
“It is our civic responsibility to protect our residents and visitors and to slow the spread of this virus,” explained Mayor John Noak. “Canceling these events is disappointing, but ultimately is the safe decision right now.”
