ROMEOVILLE, IL — A dispensary in Romeoville has temporarily closed its doors following a burglary Monday.

According to Jeremy Unruh, senior vice president of public and regulatory affairs at Verilife, a handful of individuals used burglary tools to access the dispensary between 2:30-2:45 a.m.

"Once inside, they made their way into our secured storage area, where they made off with a moderate amount of cash and cannabis products," he said. "The thieves were gone by the time law enforcement and Verilife personnel arrived."
