Romeoville Fireworks 2019: Guide To Independence Day Celebration

ROMEOVILLE, IL —July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find some patriotic events going on near you. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Romeoville.

Romeoville Trash Pickup Delayed, Village Closed 4th Of July

Celebrate 4th of July a day early in Romeoville:

• What: Romeoville's Independence Day Celebration includes food, live bands and, of course, fireworks
• Where: Activities and live music at Deer Crossing Park, 1050 W. Romeo Rd; fireworks just down the road at Village Park, 900 W. Romeo Road
• When: Activities start at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 3
• Schedule of events:
  • 6 p.m.: Live music from Anthem, covering classic rock including the songs of Styx, Bon Jovi, Journey, REO Speedwagon, Boston, Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin, Kansas, Queen, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Rush, Foreigner, Alice in Chains and more
  • A bean bags tournament also starts at 6 p.m. $10 per person to play. Must be 18.
  • 7:30 p.m.: Live music from Mike and Joe, covering modern rock from the '90s, 2000s and today (and maybe some tunes from the '70s and '80s) including songs from Blink 182, Maroon 5, U2, Fallout Boy, Fleetwood Mac, Justin Timberlake, Third Eye Blind, Mumford & Sons, Sublime, Dave Matthews Band, Weezer, Train, Keith Urban, Ed Sheeran, The Eagles, Jimmy Eat World, Goo Goo Dolls, Foo Fighters, Florida Georgia Line, OAR, The Cure, Pearl Jam
  • 9:30 p.m.: Fireworks show at Village Park

Food and drink will be available for purchase during the festivities. All park rules apply, including no pets. Coolers and bags subject to inspection. Sponsored by Romeoville Toyota.

As for the weather, there's a 20 percent chance of storms Wednesday night, with a daytime high of 87 degrees but cooler temps expected during the event.
