Romeoville To Host 3 Firework Shows Again For Independence Day
Last year's three shows were a success, so the department is bringing them back this year on July 3.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — Three fireworks shows will light up the sky again for Independence Day celebrations in Romeoville. The shows are set for 9:30 p.m. July 3.
Similar to last year's setup, fireworks will be shooting off simultaneously from three locations: Discovery Park, at 300 S. Highpoint Drive; Volunteer Park, at 1100 Murphy Drive; and Lukancic Middle School, at 725 Normantown Road.
"The shows are designed to allow residents to enjoy them throughout the community," according to a news release.

Officials decided in 2020 that they'd put on three shows instead of one to allow people to view the fireworks from their homes due to COVID-19 social distancing regulations. This year, officials from the Romeoville parks and recreation department said last year's show was such a big hit that they decided to do it again.
