Romeoville Incidents, Arrests: Vandalism, Fighting, Shoplifting

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Police in Romeoville say several burglaries took place over the past few weeks, as well as incidents of vandalism, car thefts and shoplifting. Here are the latest incident and arrest reports from the Romeoville PD.

Arrests:

Janusz Szymczak, 45, of Romeoville, was arrested Dec. 14 for DUI, improper lane usage and no insurance. Bond was set at $3,000.

Keithren Thompson, 24, of Chicago, was arrested Dec. 16 for public fighting. He was released on $120 bond.

Tony Toliver, 28, of Romeoville, was arrested Dec. 16 for public fighting. He was released on $120 bond.

Elton Dorsey, 23, of Bolingbrook, was arrested Dec. 22 for retail theft and obstructing identification. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Moses Rogers, 23, of Romeoville, was arrested Dec. 22 for retail theft. Bond was set at $1,500.

Guillermina Vasquez, 24, of Chicago, was arrested Dec. 18 for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance. Bond was set at $2,000.

Aron Colclasure, 40, of Romeoville, was arrested Dec. 19 for an outstanding warrant. Bond was set at $1,000..

Stacey Ward, 39, of Crest Hill, Illinois, was arrested Dec. 20 for driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, and disobeying a traffic control device.

Scott Dreyer, 49, of Romeoville, was arrested Dec. 21 for driving with a suspended license and registration, improper lane usage and disobeying a traffic signal.

Eric Mueller, 40, of Romeoville, was arrested Dec. 22, for driving with a suspended license and driving and an expired registration. He was released on $1,500 bond.

Pedro Mercado, 32, of Romeoville, was arrested Dec. 25 for domestic batter. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Brandon Buckley, 24, of Romeoville, was arrested Dec. 25 for domestic battery. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Travis Harmon, 31, of Woodridge, Illinois, was arrested Dec. 26 for driving with a suspended license, an expired registration and no insurance. He was released on $2,000 bond.

Geovan Carrera-Concepcion, 18, of Joliet, was arrested Dec. 27 for improper lighting and driving without a valid driver's license. He was released on $1,500 bond.

Dominique Penn, 29, of Crest Hill, Illinois, was arrested Dec. 27 on an outstanding warrant. He was also charged with resisting arrest and obstructing justice. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Incidents:

Dec. 15: A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the area of Glen and Belmont. Unknown person(s) broke two windows on the parked vehicle and rummaged through a bag in the vehicle. Nothing was taken. There was also damage to the vehicle that appeared to have been done with a BB gun.

Dec. 17: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 700 block of Echo. Unknown person(s) using a blunt object damaged a window of the residence.

Dec. 18: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 600 block of Driftwood. Unknown person(s) damaged a window of the residence.

Dec. 19: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 0-100 block of Phelps. Unknown person(s) using a BB gun damaged a window at the property.

Dec. 19: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 700 block of Essex. Unknown person(s) damaged the window of a vehicle that was parked in the street.

Dec. 20: A retail theft was reported in the 600 block of South Weber Road. An unknown person took various energy drinks with a total value of $352.32.

Dec. 20: A theft over $500.00 was reported in the 200 block of Normantown. Unknown person(s) took 10 DVDs from the location.

Dec. 22: A criminal damage to property was reported in 0-100 block of Harmony. Unknown person(s) damaged two tires on a parked vehicle.

Dec. 23: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 0-100 block of Arlington. Unknown person(s) damaged the rear window of a parked vehicle.

Dec. 25: A motor vehicle theft was reported in the 1300 block of Marquette Drive. Unknown person(s) took a semi-truck from the parking lot of the business.
