Romeoville Village, Chamber to Host 'Truckin' 5K' Saturday
Take on the 5K or kids' fun run and enjoy Enjoy-a-Truck, Fun Fair and Business Expo.

The village of Romeoville and the Romeoville Chamber of Commerce will host "Truckin' 5K" Saturday.Â
The event involves a 5K run/walk (8 a.m.), a kids one-mile obstacle run (9 a.m.), touch-a-truck, fun fair and business expo (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
Optional obstacles will be offered for those who want an extra challenge during the 5K. The route is the same as the previous Cinco de Mayo Run. Giveaways will be given to the first 200 runners.

The 5K is $25 before race day or $30 the day of. The kids run is $5 before race day and $10 day of. You can register at romeoville.org or at the Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Dr.Â
The fun fair and business expo will include inflatables, face painting, craft area, DJ, food, children's entertainment and games.Â
