Trinity Christian Students Celebrate Easter By Serving Others

Trinity Christian School Students fill 500 Easter Eggs for Children in a Neighboring Community.

Shorewood, Il - Proving that you are never too young to serve, Trinity Christian School first and second graders chose to bless children in a neighboring community by collecting donations and filling eggs for a local Easter Egg Hunt. The Trinity students contributed over 500 candy filled eggs to The Rock Community Church in Romeoville for their large community Easter Egg Hunt.

The Rock Community Church Children’s Director Cathy Moyolt said “It was super neat to see children serving other children they did not know.” Moyolt added, “They (Trinity students) served without even seeing the end result of their amazing work. That is serving at its best!”

Trinity Christian School teaches students about the value of serving others and taking care of your community. Students are taught about the responsibility of serving as well as the joy of serving.
