Valley View School District's New Last Day Of School Is May 30
Officials caution the date is still subject to change if more snow days are necessary.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Due to this winter's frigid weather, Romeoville and Bolingbrook students can look forward to a few extra days of school this May. The Valley View School District says it has added three days to the school year to make up for three emergency days used as of February, making the new last day of school May 30. It had previously been May 24.
Officials caution that the last day of school is still subject to change if the district is forced to take more snow days.
All-in-all, May 30 isn't that bad. Students in neighboring Plainfield will be stuck in school until June 5.
